It's day 12 .... already????

awwww... its day 12 of Tim's Christmas Tags already. SO FAST!!! I have been following his blog daily for more inspiration.  That MAN is sooooo inspiring!  He really knows how to create the most beautiful tags filled with so many 'AH HA!!!' moments.    I know many of you have been following his tags too.. hehhee coz i get quite a number of calls at the store asking for specific stuff that Tim used in the previous day's tag..... like.... WHITE UTEE to make SNOW... Brushed Pewter crackle paints...etc etc etc.  Sigh... i wana try those tags toooo but I reallly have no time :(

Tomorrow is LOVE ELSIE DAY.. finally!  I've been soooo busy prepping for this event I think I'm just about maxed out on looking at anymore Love, Elsie things for some time.  For those of you coming.. we're gonna have a blast.  I really hope you enjoy yourself... and yes GASP!  There'll be sewing involved.  HAHAHHAHAAA.

i've been busy.....

wow it's been a week since i last posted.... bad blogger~! LOL!  I've been busy.... with various things including trying to finish the korean drama (Cruel Love) and Forensic Heroes II coz my mom needs to return them to the video library.  Watching these dramas kinda zaps my inspiration and energy away from scrapping coz I've not being doing any scrapping (aside from a little secret project I will talk about more later) at all.

I've also managed to catch WALL-E and DARK KNIGHT (finally) too.... love the 2 shows.  I had mixed reviews from friends about WALL-E.. some really hated it (thought it was boring) and some loved it.  I LOVED IT.  I think the show and animation was simply brilliant and how it can capture my attention without any much dialog (esp during the first half of the show).  Amazing.  Here's a shot of me with Wall-E.  hehehe

So... about my secret project.  It's actually for a new workshop next month. Totally different from what I've been doing. It's not going to be a layout class but a technique based one.  You'll be altering something that will end up looking like you dug it out of the Titanic (according to kelly) LOL!!!  Sounds interesting?  I've been doing lots of experimenting, researching etc for this workshop and it should be loads of fun.

E asked me last night how I feel after being electricuted.. whether I have been feeling any different.  HAHA.... I guess this is what happened!  It's so  bizzare and departed from my usual colourful workshops you wouldn't have guessed that I did it.

I'm not nearly done yet... still needs some refining and adding on the finishing touches but it'll be a whole load of fun i promise!

On a sad note though.. I read from Elsie's blog that she resigned from KI MEMORIES. boohooooo.. no more Love Elsie products... which also means, no more Beautiful Mess workshops.  I'm saddened by this news coz I really enjoyed designing layouts for her products.  Guess it's time to move on....

for those of you who have the complete series from 1 all the way to 5 and the 2 Special Editions (making it 7 series in total)... good for u!!!!  You can put them all in an album now! :)

Oh and guess who made it home to add on to my ever growing beanie collection last nite?

WEEEEEEE!!! M&M Dark Chocolate is finally here!! Tried them in LA back in Jan.  Was sad that they did not carry them here in SG but they r  now here... HAPPYYYYY!!!!

Phew! What a day..... I spent the entire work day teaching 2 workshops back to back.  It was super fun.... I hope everyone had fun coz I did.  The company was great.  Thank you for coming!  By the end of the day I was tired but happy that everyone managed to almost complete the layouts.... except those who did not bring their photos.

Days like this really make my day.  I enjoy teaching workshops but the process of creating new layouts/ideas sometimes can be very very stressful.  But seeing that the class is well taken up and everyone came and enjoyed themselves, really makes it all worth it. 

Kel and I both had great classes today.  Her canvas class went really well too and I joked to the ladies in my class that I was gonna abandon them and go join kelly to paint my own canvas. HEHEHE! LOL!!! Everyone's canvas turned out really nice and different.

On the CHA front:  More pre orders have been made... CHA sneaks and preshow orders have been coming in lightning speed.. between Sandra and myself, we've been furiously ordering! LOL!

I'm pooped!

oh boy im pooped after a day's work....taught a workshop in the afternoon then on the sales floor till shop closing.  I only had my first meal of the day at about 8pm or so.... talk abt being famished! 

Jennifer Lynn Moody of Luxe Designs is in town for make & takes , workshops.. the works. :)  For those who signed up for her workshops this weekend.. ENJOY URSELVES!!!!

Tomorrow , Eugene and I will head out to TOYCON before I go to work.  I'm gonna bring down my TOFUMAN plush toy for the TOFUMAN creator to sign on it! woooot!

Okay! Over and out for now... really tired.  Gonna zonk out early.  I can't wait for tomorrow.. for ToyCon!  Pictures tomorrow... i promise!

A Beautiful Mess - Special Edition (Emma) Sneak 1

Okay I'm a tease... here is a small sneak for the Emma series....

Tonight, Eugene and I are going to catch the new Adam Sandler show 'You don't mess with the Zohan'.  I'm all ready to laugh my heart out.. the trailer was funny!  Will post more about it when i return.. hehe.

Ahhh..mmm.. starbucks yum.

Gee.. i could really get used to this typepad thingamajig... its sooo simple and i really like the usability and ease.  I'm sitting at Starbucks just next to Wheelock Place typing away on my lappy right now... enjoying a nice Dark Mocha Frap.  Yums.. this is quite the life. :)

Went back to the store today to settle some stuff that I needed to use for my Beautiful Mess workshop.  They are 95% complete... phew!  Took me an entire week to create the 6 layouts.  I will post sneak peaks of them soon.  Actually 1 week to do the 6 layouts is really FAST for me.. probably coz i had the day time to work on them too.. being on leave.   I usually take a couple of weeks to create for the workshop.

Ah well.. guess i can now sit back , relax and enjoy the rest of my leave till Monday.  PHEW!

giving this a shot..

Wordpress gave me loads of headaches.. i wonder if typepad would be any better?  Just giving this a shot to see how it goes. 

Been on leave since Monday but have been busy with the new Special Edition for Beautiful Mess workshops.  This time we will be having 2 workshops at one go, using Josie and Emma - Love, Elsie's latest collection.  There will be 3 layouts per workshop and it'll be so much fun.
