It's the weekend!!!! YEY! What plans do you have this weekend? I wish I could say that I'll be scrappin' up a storm but alas..... my scrap area is seriously in need of a good clean up. I have so much stuff and rubbish on the table I cannot even see my trimmer anymore. LOL!
My sister gets married in 2 weeks....... yes .... 2 weeks time so this means we'll all be crazy busy leading up to it too. I'm so happy I managed to find a really beautiful dress for her wedding dinner. It's really a big load off my mind. Now I just need to go find some matching acessories and shoes. Should not be too difficult eh?
Any good suggestions as to what would match a Ivory Tube Dress?
Pearls? Gold bangles? Gold strappy heels? Let me know k???
And before I finish off.... here is another sneak for my new October workshop. :) FUN FUN FUN!
Have a great weekend!! To all my Muslim friends... Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. :)
Man she would be so entertaining to watch... I'm still on the fence whether to go see her at Fort Canning. I Loveeee Lady Gaga but I don't really think I would like to sit by the mozzies in the heat to watch her. Free seating too.. can't imagine how early we need to be there to get a good spot.
It's mid week tomorrow.. how has your week been? I am dreaming of being in a nice cool country now. I needddddd to get to somewhere cool.. even COLD. It's too warm in Singapore. I rather be walking in the cold all wrapped up then sweat and perspire here. Sigh.
So yep... we went to ION on Sunday. Obviously nothing was opened yet.. dono why they call it a Family Day ... what do we get to see? Basically lots of carpenters and everyone bustling around to make the Tuesday opening dateline. LOL. We did get a sneak peek as to what stores there will be at ION though. Let's just say I can only afford to shop at the basement levels. LOL! Anything above........ too expensive. LOL.
Anyone went down today? I heard from Eugene who walked past that it was very crowded.
So my sister had her wedding photoshoot last week. We ended up going to Portsdown area and the Marina Barrage. The official photos from the photographer are not ready yet but here is one that I shot from afar that I particularly liked .... :)
Like Mafia Boss marrying the Mafia gal huh. LOL.
So before I leave.. here is another sneak peek at the new Lemonade workshop next month... enjoy!!!
Tomorrow my baby sister gets married (ROM)...... after months of planning.... the day has finally come! Her wedding dinner is in October so tomorrow we're having a pastor friend officiate her wedding solemnization followed by a nice luncheon.
Some people may think.. its only a ROM (for those who are not local.. this just means that the couple signs the legal documents to be married)... whats the fuss? Well it really took us some months to get everything in place.. from the location (Marriott Hotel) to the bridal boutique (Emmauel B) to the videographer and photographer (Lightbox) and many more details.
Phew! :)
Today my sis had a hen party and she invited all the aunties and cousins (ladies only) to a private manicure/pedicure party. So much fun.. thanks Jac!
Jac, If you're reading this now.. GO SLEEEP (or at least try to)... don't think so much about forgetting ur vows.. it will all come naturally tomorrow. (Even if u blank out infront of the groom)
I will be heading down to the store for all the NSD action after the ROM event..... hope to see you all at the store tomorrow..
HAPPY NATIONAL SCRAPBOOKING DAY! YEY!
Phew!!! What a day.... went out earrrrrly (well early considering that today is my OFF day) with my mummy and sister. Guess what we did?
Well.... my sister is getting married (ROM in May, AD in Oct) so we spent the day hopping around some bridal boutiques to check out their gowns and packages. We had already shortlisted a couple and made appointments to go see them today.
Last minute eh? Well ya... the dates are kinda near but I believe it can be done. I mean.. it MUST be done. LOL.... *stress*
Anyways I'm happy to say that.. YEYYYYYY. My sister has decided on her BS (Bridal Studio). YEYYY! Happy for her. We found the designer really pleasant to work with (at least for now.. I hope it continues this way) and her gowns really elegant and nice. I had high expectations that my sister picked a designer boutique and NOT those Taiwanese "ching chiong" - EVERYTHING IN package. While a designer boutique is costlier.. the personal attention and overall look of the gown can never be matched by those ermm.. taiwanese boutiques.
Ya know a funny thing....we actually "ACCIDENTALLY" made an appointment to see a boutique that had an exquisite "italian sounding name". The moment i stepped right up to the boutique... I KNEW that it could only go ALL WRONG. LOL! That was a funny experience. Well how would we have known? The sampling we saw from the Bridal Mag looked pretty decent. LOL!
So yep anyways...... BRIDAL STUDIO . CHECK!
On another note.... I've just completed samples for a new workshop for March. Fun fun fun! The new workshop will feature the new American Crafts collection - CRAFT FAIR. I love the colours for this collection.
How about i share with you a sneaky peek?
More to come! :)
Okay im sooo tired. gonna rest my feet now.
